             The Palestinian Authority decided to ask the UN to recognize a Palestinian state in September because of the failure of the peace talks, and this is not a unilateral act, PA President Mahmoud Abbas declared on Saturday.              The head of Egypt's ruling military council Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi said on Saturday that Egypt intends to keep all previously signed agreements and will keep working toward achieving a stable and sustainable peace in the Middle East.
