Obama: There'll be a price to pay for premature Iran action

EU's Ashton accepts Iranian offer of nuclear talks

            European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton wrote to Iran's chief nuclear negotiator on Tuesday, accepting an offer to meet to discuss Tehran's nuclear program. Panetta: US will act against Iran if it has to

          US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta spoke before the AIPAC conference on Tuesday and vowed that the United States would take military action to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon if diplomacy fails.
