Netanyahu says Iran responsible for terror threat in Gaza

           PM Binyamin Netanyahu vowed Wednesday that sooner or later, Israel will "uproot" the Iranian terror base in Gaza. Speaking in the Knesset, Netanyahu stressed that he will not accept that Gaza's missiles, money , terrorist training and terrorist infrastructure come from Iran. Turkey warns Iran not to carry out terror attack on Turkish soil

‏            Turkish newspaper Zaman says Ankara has warned Iran not to engage in acts of terrorism against Israelis or Jewish targets on Turkish territory. The report came a day after Israel's National Security Council's counterterrorism bureau warned that terrorists were planning an attack against "Israeli or Jewish targets in Turkey in the coming days." US to Iran :Forthcoming nuclear talks last chance to avoid attack

Despite truce, rocket in Netivot overnight

          A rocket fired Tuesday night from the Gaza Strip landed in a parking lot in Netivot. One man was lightly injured by shrapnel and 11 others were treated for shock. A number of cars were damaged. In all 13 rockeets and mortar shellls landed in Israeli territory on Tuesday, despite the cease fire that went into effect at 1 AM on Tuesday. Netanyahu: to southern council heads: IDF dealing heavy blows

            Following three days of incessant rocket fire from Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traveled to Israel's southern region on Sunday and met with local council heads. Rockets continue to hit south

           Several people suffered anxiety attacks on Sunday after parts of a rocket intercepted by the Iron Dome system hit a car and a water pipe in Beersheba. More than 30 rockets were fired at Israel on Sunday. At around 3 pm a rocket landed in one of Beersheba's residential neighborhoods, causing damage to 15 homes. US strongly condemns rocket fire from Gaza

          The United States said it is deeply concerned by the renewal of violence in southern Israel and called on both sides to make every effort to restore calm. Hamas engaged in contacts via Egypt to restore calm

           Hamas has confirmed that it is engaged in contacts with Egypt to try to stop the escalation in the south. The head of the Hamas administration in Gaza, Ismail Haniye has been involved in the contacts, and is now awaiting Israel's response, which is due to be conveyed via Egypt. A Hamas spokesman, Taher A-Nunu, said that if Israel stops striking Gaza, there will be room to talk, in his words, about a halt to the Palestinian rocket fire.
