Obama, Netanyahu discuss Iran; Kerry: We won't succumb to fear tactics

US President Barack Obama spoke to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Iran Monday, a day after the Israeli leader warned Tehran could convert uranium into weapons-grade material within weeks. Rabbi Ovadia Yossef buried in Israel's biggest-ever funeral

Netanyahu: Palestinian recognition of Jewish state key for true peace

           Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday that the Palestinians must recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people in order to achieve real peace. Unless Iran takes confidence-building steps, tougher trade sanctions will be applied

     A top US official on Thursday held out the prospect of limited sanctions relief for Iran if it takes confidence-building steps to allay concerns about its atomic program, but said the fundemental sanctions must remain until all concerns have been dealt with.
