     Today, Jordanian and Iraqi interior ministers and their security officials met to coordinate plans and share intelligence on terrorist groups such as al-Qaida, which has staged devastating attacks in both states. Jordan's King Abdullah II has warned of a "Shiite crescent" stretching from Iran to Lebanon that would destabilize the region and moderate Arab regimes like his. Also, today,the Israeli Foreign Ministry published a warning to travelers headed for India "to avoid staying in Goa in the next few weeks."The Ministry said that "due to al-Qaeda's terror threats there is a concrete threat in India these days, especially focused on the Goa area, were many tourists go, including Israelis, at the end of the year." media reported.(17,20)
