      Exiled Hamas politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal said Friday that Hamas had no intention of taking control of the Palestinian Authority. Speaking at a press conference in Damascus, Mashaal added that international source were to blame for the escalation in the Palestinian arena. Khaled Mashaal said Friday that his organization rejected the proposal to deploy a multinational force to the Gaza Strip. He added that the recent events in Gaza were not part of an Iranian-Syrian plan.Fatah refuses any possible dialog with the Hamas organization and its leader Khaled Mashaal, said Fatah spokesman Ahmad Abd al-Rahman Friday. “There will be no dialog with those who carried out a coup. What has happened in Gaza is a revolt against the legitimate government,” al-Rahman said on Al Jazeera at the conclusion of Mashaal’s press conference.(23,56)
