Balad leads Nazareth protest against PM's visit & killings in Gaza

     In Arab Nazareth, some 50 supporters of the Balad Party were protesting against the visit by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to the city. The demonstrators carried signs that read, Enough to the killing of innocent children in Gaza. The Nazareth muncipality said it objected to the prime minister's and the government's policies. It said it accepted the visit by Olmert to a school in the city because it presented them with the opportunity to express their opinions and their demands concerning the education system. The municipality said it identified with the protestors against the prime minister's visit, but would not lend a hand to those trying to make political gains from the event.(00,39)
