Bibi accuses Hamas of breaking ceasefire
Foreign Minister Abdul Gheit of Egypt has accused Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah of trying to use the war in Gaza to cause a wider regional conflict in order to divert attention from Tehran's efforts to acquire a nuclear bomb. Likud chairman and candidate for prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu accused Hamas on Thursday of pursing its "terror efforts" despite a ceasefire in the Gaza war. "We'll deal with it," Netanyahu told reporters on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, when asked about new rocket attacks against Israel. "Clearly, Hamas is commttted to continuing its fanatical mission of destroying Israel, continues to import weapons through the tunnels, the smuggling tunnels, and sooner or later, Israel will have to deal with this. We can't leave our citizens unprotected against this rain of rockets," Natanyahu said. President Shimon Peres meet in Davos on Thursday evening with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey.
