Yossy Levi: A small number of Israeli citizens is still detained there, kept by the Romanian authorities

      The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem has confirmed that some 30 Israelis were detained over the affair, but the 27 others have been released, and committed to return to Israel. Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Yossy Levi said : "First, the events are still unfolding, so we are not at the end of the issue. Let me please open by emphasizing that we are dealing primarily with a private issue. It is a private issue between a private clinic and the Romanian authorities. It has no political implications, we have excellent relations with Romania, and we trust them fully. We have full trust in the Romanian (authorities) and we have great cooperation, our Embassy in Bucharest is praising the cooperation with the Romanian authorities. " (21,31)
