The same gun and scooter used in three attacks in France

        The gun and scooter used in a shooting that killed four people today outside a Jewish school in southwestern France is the same one used in two seperate killings last week, said a police source Monday afternoon. The White House has condemned the what they call an"outrageous" and "unprovoked" attack at the Jewish school in Toulouse today. French president Nicolas Sarkozy declared the murders a "national tragedy' and headed to Toulouse immediately, as anti terrorist police probed the third fatal shooting involving a motorcylist wielding a large caliber pistol in the Toulouse region in recent days. . Today a man on a motorbike opened fire outside the school, Otzar Hatorah this morning, killing four people and wounding five before fleeing the scene. The dead were identified as a father and his two sons, 29-year-old Rabbi Johnathon Sandler,born in France, who studied in Jerusalem, and recently moved back to France , his sons 6 year old Arieh and 3-year-old Gabriel as well as the daughter of the school principal, 8-year-old Miriam Monssonego. A 17-year-old was seriously wounded.. The shooting occurred as students were arriving at the high school, which is attended by some 200 students. Witnesses said the gunman used two firearms and fired 15 bullets at the school and students. Police launched a widespread hunt for the assailant. The school has many connections with Israel with joint programs. The shooting comes a week after three French soldiers were killed in two separate, but linked, shootings. Two of the dead were of arab origin and another from the Caribbean.In these incidents the gunman fled on a black scooter. Surveillance cameras captured the licence plate of the scooter used in today's attacks. Funerals of those killed today are planned to take place in Israel. France will hold a minute's silence in memory of the dead at eleven tomorrow morning. Here in Jerusalem, Prime Minsiter Netanyahu described the attack as a "savage crime" with a "murderous anti-semitic motive."
