The Jewish victims of the terror attack are buried in Jerusalem
Thousands of people on Wednesday attended the funerals of the four victims in the Toulouse school shooting at Jerusalem's Har Hamenuhot cemetery. The coffins bearing the bodies of Rabbi Yonatan Sandler, his two sons Gabriel and Arye, and Miriam Monsonego, the daughter of the Otzar Hatorah school principal, arrived in Israel from France earlier in the morning. Among those eulogizing the four were French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe, who said that his country will do everything to ensure that such a horrifying act does not occur again. He stressed that anti-Semitic violence is not a problem for the Jews of France, but for all French citizens. Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin said in his remarks that the entire Jewish people is crying over the murder and the hate inflicted upon innocent souls. Rivlin said that the state of Israel has an obligation that ensure that Jewish life can exist in every place in the world, and that the people of Israel will continue to pass on its legacy and heritage, and that Jewish children can learn, protected and safe. Cabinet Minister Eli Yishai said that Israel expects the French government to take severe measures against those responsible for the crime, and to do everything possible to ensure the safety of the Jews of France.
